A TREAT, AND SOMETHING TO DO

Lick. Roll.
Go back for more.

The loose ball rolls through the creamy treat in the inner cup, picking up a little as it turns. With the cover on, your cat licks the exposed top rather than diving into an open bowl.

For eager treat lovers, that means an invitation to slow down. For curious indoor cats, it's a little food activity to explore. And for you, it's a sweet moment together without squeezing a tube the whole time.

Designed to encourage repeated small licks. Pace varies with your cat and the treat's consistency. Use small treat portions alongside their usual meals, water and play.

THREE LITTLE STEPS

Treat time,
without holding the tube.

  1. 01

    Fill the inner cup

Wash before first use. Lift off the cover and add a small portion of smooth purée to the central cup where the ball sits. The treat should touch the ball, not sit in the outer rim. Avoid overfilling and keep the cover's fitting edge clean.

  2. 02

    Give it a little roll

The ball is loose, not fixed in place. Roll it gently through the treat so a little reaches its top, then refit the cover securely. Start with a familiar flavor and let your cat sniff and investigate.

  3. 03

    Let them lick

Place it on a flat, stable floor and supervise. The exposed ball turns as they lick, picking up more treat from below. If they seem unsure, give them time. Remove leftovers and wash the parts after every use.

A little is enough. Treats should generally stay under 10% of daily calories. Follow the treat label and ask your vet if your cat has a special diet.

He figured it out pretty quickly

He sniffed it for a bit, then went straight for the ball. I use the same creamy treats he already likes.

I can finally put the tube down

My cat usually tries to bite the treat tube, so this is a lot less messy for me. She just sits there licking it.

Needed a little help at first

She stared at it the first time lol. A dab of treat on the ball did the trick. A little messy to fill, but easy enough to rinse out.

Easy to wash

The lid and ball come out, which is handy. I rinse it as soon as he's done so the treat doesn't dry on it.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER

Good to know.

Is this a slow feeder or a treat toy?

It is a rolling-ball feeder for smooth lickable treats. The ball offers a little purée at a time and encourages repeated licking. There is no guaranteed feeding duration; every cat is different.

Does the ball really roll through the treat?

Yes. The orange ball is loose inside the central cup, where you add the purée. As it turns, its surface picks up treat for your cat to lick from the opening in the cover. Put the treat in that inner cup, not in the dry outer rim.

Why is a slower pace helpful?

Some cats bring food back up after eating meals too quickly. Slower meal feeding can help with that kind of regurgitation. This bowl encourages small licks during treat time; it isn't a full-meal feeder or a proven way to prevent vomiting or diarrhea. If your cat keeps bringing food back up, please speak with your vet. Read Cats Protection's feeding guidance (page 53).

Does it help with boredom?

Food activities give curious indoor cats something to explore, using a little of the treat they already enjoy. Introduce it gently and count the portion toward their daily calories. Keep it part of a varied day with play, rest and time with you.

Does it help my cat drink more?

Lickable treats contain moisture, but that comes from the treat, not the bowl. Keep fresh drinking water available and use their usual complete food. It is not a hydration or medical treatment.

Can I use a whole tube?

Start with a small portion without overfilling, not a fixed number of tubes. Check the treat's feeding guide and calorie content. Treats should generally provide no more than 10% of daily calories.

What if my cat doesn't understand it?

Try a familiar flavor and prime the top of the ball with a little treat. Let them approach in their own time, in a quiet spot. Supervise, and put it away if they try to bite or chew the parts.

How do I wash it?

Remove the cover and ball, discard leftovers, then hand-wash all parts with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and let everything dry. Follow the supplied instructions. Dishwasher, microwave and freezer use have not been confirmed.

Can I leave it out all day?

Use it for a supervised treat session, then remove leftover food promptly and wash it. Follow the treat label's storage guidance. It is not intended as an unattended chew toy or all-day food bowl.

Is it suitable for every cat?

Choose a cat-safe treat your cat can comfortably lick and introduce it gently. Ask your vet first about prescribed diets, food sensitivities, dental difficulties or other health concerns. Stop using it if the bowl or ball is damaged.

How does the two-bowl offer work?

Choose 2 bowls above. You get two Grey bowls, each with its own rolling ball and cover. The duo is $25.98 USD total ($12.99 each), saving $4 against buying two at the single-bowl price. The discount applies automatically in your cart and at checkout when you buy two or more bowls. No code needed. The duo doesn't combine with LICK10 or other discounts. Local currency and taxes are confirmed at checkout.
